The first aim of the roundtable will be to position Germany in the chessboard of fibre optic coverage, adoption, and take-up, in comparison to other countries at European and international level. The second section will look at the political and regulatory framework and resulting strategies, followed by some reflections on applications, with the help of some expert speakers from the German Federal Network Agency (BNetzA) and Deutsche Telekom AG.

Our Director General Vincent Garnier will set the scene of the debate by providing the audience with a presentation over the state-of-fibre in Europe, leveraging our most recent market reports presented at the FTTH Conference 2022.
