Join us today, get up to speed and help deliver fibre to Europe!
Brings together fibre technology experts to share knowledge and support the FTTH eco-system These specialists cover the FTTH value chain from end to end: Network design, passive and active fibre connectivity equipment, installation machines and services, maintenance, technical training, network management.
This committee runs the FTTH Market Panorama annual survey which tracks the progresses of FTTH roll out in Europe. It also initiates ad-hoc studies on subjects such as Misleading advertising, Copper Switch-off and the socio economic impact of FTTH, to name a few.
The Policy & Regulation Committee debates proposed EU legislation and public consultations and formulates positions that reflect the Council's mission. This input is shared with policy makers and regulators.
Rolling out FTTH across Europe represents a massive investment challenge with most of the money coming from private funds. This committee helps investors understand the FTTH ecosystem and educates entrepreneurs about Infrastructure Investors and financial institutions expectations.
A very recent initiative, this working group focuses on the edge of FTTH network and the subscriber's digital experience, enabled by fibre. Ultimately, our objective is to make sure that all European citizens can maximise the benefits they get from full-fibre connectivity.
Gender equality is a major subject which is taken very seriously by the FTTH Council. The purpose of this working group is to contribute to the promotion of gender equality and the role of women, as key players in the fibre ecosystem.
Digitalisation will be at the core of this ambitious program and fibre is key to align the digital and sustainability agendas. As the most sustainable telecommunication infrastructure technology, full-fibre is a prerequisite to achieving the European Green Deal and making the European Union’s economy more sustainable.
