Fibre Business Models

We are agnostic when it comes to FTTH Operators business models. The FTTH Council Europe’s mission is to advance ubiquitous full fibre-based connectivity to the whole of Europe. This goal can be achieved via different business models such as traditional vertically integrated telecom operators or challenger operators including wholesale-only operators. The Investor Committee of the FTTH Council Europe has analysed several case studies throughout Europe involving private financing and highlighted a number of key factors which make a successful business model, also from an investor perspective. Based on this study, the Investor Committee has developed the Guide to Successful Fibre Business Models, Involving and Rewarding Private Financing.
