As the broadband sector continues to expand, addressing sustainability challenges has become a key priority for industry stakeholders. Reducing environmental impact, promoting energy-efficient network deployment, and integrating ESG strategies across the fibre ecosystem are critical to ensuring a responsible and resilient digital future.
This 60-minute keynote session will take place in the opening block of the FITCE Fibre Congress, bringing together around 150–180 representatives from the Belgian fibre community, including operators, solution providers, and policymakers. The session will highlight actionable insights and strategies for sustainable network development, followed by a brief Q&A segment.
FTTH Council Europe will contribute expert perspectives on how the industry can leverage fibre infrastructure to enhance sustainability outcomes, sharing recommendations and best practices to support the sector’s environmental and social objectives. In-person participation is encouraged to engage directly with the discussion and network with industry peers.
