While the FTTH/B roll-out coverage in Europe amounts to 57% and is progressing steadily, the take-up rate is yet to reach the 50% mark, with some countries significantly lagging behind this average figure. This workshop will bring together industry experts to discuss how to increase the demand for FTTH/B – a key challenge that the industry needs to address urgently to ensure that society fully benefits from the connectivity potential that full-fibre has to offer. During the session, speakers will examine which policy measures and steps by the industry and policy makers could work best to increase the demand and the take-up.
