The Digital Assembly 2022 was co-organised by the European Commission and the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union. The two-day event took place on 21 and 22 June, online and in Toulouse. It particularly focused on issues related to EU sovereignty and autonomy and saw a special attention on the initiative #Tech4Ukraine.

The FTTH Council Europe took part in the initiative by producing a video clip summarising its efforts to support the people on the ground in Ukraine during the FTTH Conference2022 held in Vienna on 23-25 May, bringing on stage representatives of the Ukrainian fibre market, raising funds to support the victims of the conflict and encouraging its members to bring material support to Ukraine's operators.
