| Swiss city of Basel to get FTTH network | ||
Utility company IWB and Swisscom have formed a joint venture to connect every household in the city of Basel with fibre by 2017. The total investment will be CHF 174m, of which CHF 70m will come from IWB and CHF 22m from the district authorities in the form of an interest-bearing loan. | ||
